The association aims to establish and maintain an academy of aesthetics for the training, education, performance and advancement of Sri Lankan traditional and contemporary theater and drama in Australia. This would lead to the promotion and fostering of inter-cultural relations between the members of the association, the wider Sri Lankan community and the local community in Australia. The association also aims to promote Sri Lankan cultural identity and its traditional customs and values by creating an environment conducive to fostering, generating and promoting cultural, social and aesthetic interests among its members and among the wider community.
